The first National Stkeholder Group (NSG) meeting set up two National Issue groups tp carry out more detailed work than could be achieved at the NSG.
The focus groups were:
- waste management (WIG); and
- management of nuclear materials (MIG).
The issue groups comprised of volunteers drawn from members of the NSG.
Both groups have now concluded their work although there is a possibility that the MIG may meet again to discuss spent fuel. The final reports form both groups may be viewed from the see also links.
