The November 2006 meeting of the National Stakeholder Group (NSG) agreed that it would be appropriate to review the overall arrangements for NDA stakeholder engagement.
This review included input from the NSG, the Waste Issues Group, the Materials Issues Group, Site Stakeholder Groups and various members of NDA staff.
NDA conducted a short consultation (predominately carried out online) on a report that included recommendations. All the comments submitted to this consultation can be seen at www.nda.dialoguebydesign.net (Note: You will need to register if you have not already done so.)
NSG attendees in July 2007 discussed the findings of the review and these can be viewed from the 'see also' links on the right. They include:
- The full report from this Process Review; and
- The Challenge Report - a separately commissioned desk top study into possible best practice lessons that could be learned from other UK and international stakeholder engagement experience.
In advance of the National Stakeholder Group meeting in May 2008, NDA provided an update (CD18 - linked on the right) on progress against the recommendations made via the review.
