The Energy Act 2004 established the NDA as an open and transparent organisation with a duty to engage and consult with stakeholders on all aspects of its work. To succeed in our mission we need to work in partnership with the Government, the Regulators and other stakeholders.
The way we and our contractors tackle decommissioning and clean-up and bring about significant structural and cultural changes within the industry needs to
- be innovative; and
- improve safety, security and environmental performance.
The NDA's National Stakeholder Group (NSG) meets twice each year.
It enables stakeholders to
- question and challenge senior representatives of the NDA
- input their views on national issues
The NSG also facilitates interaction between our local, national and international stakeholders.
The next National Stakeholder group meeting will take place in November 2008.

They provide opportunities for
- questioning the operator, the NDA, and regulators
- reviewing, commenting on, and influencing strategies, plans, and achievements
We are seeking views on our recently published on
- Consultation on NDA's Supply Chain Development Strategy until 30 September 2008; and
