This section provides a brief description of the Capenhurst site as outlined in the NDA's Strategy 2006.
The scope, schedule and cost of work needed to decommission the sites are reviewed annually by the
NDA and its contractors during the Lifetime Plan (LTP) review process.
Site End States
| The current assumed end state is a licensed site with the potential for restricted reuse. Demolition of redundant buildings to slab level (for potential future use by Urenco), top-dressed with soil and sown with meadow grass. |
