Appointment of New Chair to the NDA

Business Secretary John Hutton today announced the appointment of Stephen Henwood as the new Chair of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA).

The appointment will take effect from 1 March 2008.

Mr Hutton said

"This is a significant appointment and I am confident that Stephen Henwood’s extensive commercial and financial experience will be invaluable in the next critical phases of the NDA’s efforts to clean up the UK’s nuclear legacy."
