Appointment of New Chair
Business Secretary, John Hutton, today announced the appointment of Stephen Henwood as the new NDA Chair. The appointment will take effect from 1 March 2008.

We employ over 300 people. In addition to expertise from the nuclear industry, these people bring skills from engineering, finance, the civil service and consultancy.
The NDA Board
- sets out the strategic framework and direction within which the NDA operates; and
- is responsible for ensuring high standards of corporate governance are observed.
The day-to-day management of the NDA is delegated by the Board to the Business Management Board, comprising the Chief Executive Officer and other Directors.
NDA Board Members
The Secretary of State for the Department of Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform in consultation with the Scottish Ministers appoints the Chairman of the Board.
The Board consists of seven non-executive directors, including the Chairman, and five executive directors.
