Agreed Timescales for Waste Storage Review
Following the UK Radioactive Waste Storage Review Stakeholder Workshop held in October 2008, the NDA intends to publish an updated document by mid-January 2009.

NDA and EDF launch Land Disposal Process
NDA and EDF today announce the start of the disposal process for land adjacent to nuclear sites at Wylfa in Anglesey, Bradwell in Essex and Oldbury in Gloucestershire.
John's most recent role before coming to the NDA was Managing Director of International Nuclear Services Limited. In this role he managed the transition of INS from a subsidiary of Sellafield Limited to a wholly owned subsidiary of the NDA.
John has more than 25 years experience of working in the nuclear industry. A Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, his early career involved a range of roles in the design, development, commissioning and operation of nuclear fuel processing plants. A member of the Sellafield Limited Executive Team for eight years, John spent five years as Head of EHSQ , followed by three years as Director of Production where he was accountable for the majority of operational activities at Sellafield.
